Jasinski, Don

Biographical Sketch:
Don Jasinski’s research interest has been in the clinical pharmacology of abused substances as well understanding the causes, treatment and prevention of substance abuse. A primary research activity has been the development of methods to assess abuse potential especially of new agents being introduced into medicine. Dr. Jasinski has been the lead investigator on a number of abuse liability studies conducted by various pharmaceutical companies including the studies conducted for the approval of Vyvanse® (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate). His research in drug abuse and dependence spans many decades and he is recognized as a leader in the field of drug abuse science.
